We started using this cup when my son was about 11 months olds. He was ready to use a cup but needed some help. I love the design of the lid. It helps keep spills to a minimum even when knocked over. If my guy shook the cup not much got out. And when he would drink it controlled the flow so he didn't drown himself every time. Now that he's 18 months and nearly mastered cups we use it without the lid. This is definitely an awesome training cup. (Posted on 5/30/12)
