Every piece of wood has its own appearance, its own character and its own vitality. Its natural characteristics, and unique markings are therefore always to be considered. For example, dark spots on the rainbow are caused by mineral deposits. This means that if the tree had grown further, a branch would have developed at this point.
Black stripes are also something completely natural. This is the so-called pith tube or "heart of the tree". It differs from the surrounding wood by the darker color and structure. When working on the wood, it can become completely or partially visible. This feature is part of the natural appearance of the wood. Therefore, these are not defects for Grimm's, but quality features of a natural product and as such are desired and welcome by them. We love this uniqueness of wood!
This little set is perfect for little ones! They can nest it, stack it, fill it, and more. It has continued play value as kids grow. My kids still use theirs in play many years after purchase.

Great bowls wish they were bigger
The colors are fun, bright and beautiful! My daughter definitely enjoys turning them into a cake and stacking with them. However I find the smallest one too small and the largest one not big enough. We had to take the smallest one away for a bit as she likes to put things in her mouth still at 2. These adorable, little bowls are still a great edition to presented play!

Perfect open ended toy
I have had this on my list for the kids play room forever and finally got the nesting bowls. Theyre great for sorting, nesting (which babies love to do) and they can double as a cake when stacked upside down!
